When a man told you that he can’t promise you anything after all that have been through your relationship… that you should not expect anything more than what you have, and that you should be ready for anything that might succumb your relationship to a goodbye, it is forgivable for the woman to show her rage, to screech her pain or to cry out her feelings. It is inevitable to see her...

Anne Frank: The Diary Of A Young Girl
It was a book thrown in the middle of such a big complex collections, resting title-less, mysteriously concealing on a green cover and when I decided to run my fingers over on its pages I was speechless to read the title: Anne Frank: The Diary of A Young Girl. I knew I have just found a treasure.
This book has been on my list to read though I have not seen a copy of it before anywhere. Upon...

If there is a category for a blogger or a writer based on the frequency of the kind of part of speech he/she uses, I would be a noun/adjective writer. And with that I thought that I want to and that I really have to improve my vocabulary of verbs. Because the only verb I know is love! Chos~

This is what the weather does to me.
Today the clouds were proud and my artistic credo tells me I have to write about it (or atleast a part of it). I was, as unusually usual, thrilled to witness the weather upon seeing the cloudy mood outside my window. Its around 9 o’clock in the morning the sun was hiding somewhere but there was no sight of great rain coming, awesome. I received and read messages from him (which was...

ilovekashilario asked: My dearest Cherryl, your message made my heart swell and it makes me giddy to know that you love me and that you consider me a friend even if we haven't officially met yet. I want you to know that the feeling is mutual and I long for the day when I could adorn your hair with the freshest blooms. With love, Kash. :>

Of particularity in forgetting details
Its a mystery to me on how I could easily neglect details yet I always seem to remember a part of something. To clarify that vague pronouncement, which only came to me this clear last Wednesday, let me tell you the story of I meeting Museocafe for the first time! After three long years in that university, I was finally able to visit this particular cafe standing adjacent to Museo hence the name.

You reached for my hand and found the fragrance of the honeysuckle. You wrote your name in my palm so delicately, your first finger as your pen, and the wind as your ink. Every stroke conveyed vivid imagery of how you looked on that day, every stroke told me of your beautiful though invisible handwriting - precise and gentle. That was the day I rediscover that the world has no other side at all.

The Perks of Being A Wallflower.
I am a self-confessed lover of literary classics. Like Nagasawa in Haruki Murakami’s Norwegian Wood, the only books worth reading are those which stand the test of time (in Nagasawa’s case, he refuses to touch a book unless the author has been dead at least 30 years). But The Perks of Being A Flower had captured my attention when I heard that Chbosky credited J.D. Salinger’s Cather in the...

Strech your imagination.
(from The Art Of Doing Nothing by Veronique Vienne, Erica Lennard, page 33)
Fight the ho-hums by playing tricks on your mind. The following “brain games” are inspired by japanese koans, those mental puzzles designed to help Zen students let go of their basic assumptions about the rational world.
Scramble time: It’s Monday afternoon? Make believe it’s Friday p.m. - just for a few minutes.

Heartening and sincere~
The weekend episodes of my life are probably the most worth sharing part because procrastination and dillydallying are two beautiful sins that are essentially banned from being criticized at this point of time; everyone is forgiven, technically.
This week, I am so proud to announce that I had finally met the last sentence of The Winner Stands Alone which I deemed to be an easy piece of cake, my...

Justice and Courts
Yesterday learning was different from our usual environment since we had the opportunity to visit Supreme Court, Department of Justice, and Court of Appeals. These three pillars of Philippine justice system are geographically connected to each other too so we had to walk from one office to another which entailed a lot of exercise for my thin frail legs. The sexually controversial Midas...

I want to feature other amazing but non-famous blogs. I believe we people of www should improve our taste with choosing who to follow, so as to inspire as more to be great also.
BUT I want a unique short presentation that would exhibit their talents in a glance. Ideas must come up. Brain, don’t sleep.
You like the idea? No?

This might go beyond honesty
Cherryl is in third year college and she fears that she is losing the last drop of idealistic blood that nurtures her life.
That’s my safest description of my status relationship to school. All the dramas, difficulties and enthusiasm that used to fire up my interest in politics (because I am a PolSci major) are all seem pretty much departing from me. It had been a long while since I can...

The Shadow of the Wind~
Shadow of the Wind is a story within a story. The first chapters expose the discoveries which lead to further incrimination of Daniel Sempere to decode the conundrum behind this arcane book he discovered in the Cemetery of Forgotten Books. As he fulfill the furtherance to investigate Julian (the author of the book) the story inside the book becomes alive as he met the characters in flesh and...

I am never afraid to get dirty. I am never afraid to get wet. I love when the busy streets try to cover itself under canopies. When people complain yet it still pours. And I wait for your umbrella while I still believe in love. And these words will slip on your lips… Don’t be afraid, we will wait for the rain to fall, naked, the rain, the same as falls over Manu Tara.

"The Freidas"
If I am to compare my friendship with my two great girl friends, it would be like a flower that the bees prefer. It fades only to blossom more beautifully in spring. And it never brings harm to itself. It lives with the sun, for the sun benefited from sending it own rays.
Now that we are burning the candle at both ends, as if we are making up for the lost time we spent with those monday...

Why I write →
Writing is soul searching. I used to believe that the sole reason why I write was for the fame it automatically summoned when the readers get to read me – and egoistic conviction I had to relinquish a long time ago for a) it is so conceited to admit so and b) that mantra will not blaze one’s writer spirit far, I can attest to that!
I was in sophomore year in high school when my mom passed...

A pain fueled entry~
Today, I cried over somebody’s loss. I respect what he felt though I am clueless with how deep exactly it cut. I am firmed that I did not offend him with my ignorance on why that frosted crystal drops clinging firmly finally fell from my eyes. Maybe, not trying to make sense with everything makes me who I am.
I weep over the slightest idea of goodbye. I weep over burned bridges, endearing...

Warm Burgundy Red~
Because I felt attracted to the sun and after the neediness to fix my hair since I was neglecting it for two months had finally sunk in my brain, I got my hair dyed warm burgundy red last Tuesday.
Little sister helped me out though she was in terrible coughing spree. She managed to dye my hair notwithstanding the darkness of the night (‘twas between 10pm-12am). It was sudden capricious...

An exerpt
She does not recognize the glow that frolics inside your eyes when you see her smile. She is not able to see the way you apologize for the bitter things that separate her from you. She never look on that precious chance of being only an inch from you as much as my heart desires. She never going to want you as much as I do. But you are oblivious of that truth, heedless of me. Wednesday at school~
The view outside the fourth floor of my College of Liberal Arts building (first photo) has saved me from the monotonous dullness of any four-cornered room for three years now. A lot of imagery I used to scape boredom was stolen from outside the window.
The second photo exposes the way beside the lake which for me, is an almost perfect scenery encouraging momentarily drama. Oh, including some...
